A Grade / Saloons

Like the super saloons, A Grade Saloons also use a purpose built "spaceframe" chassis with fibreglass body panels attached.

They race under the same rules too but are limited to 18.0 second lap times which allows more of a variety of car to be used.

With Supercharging and Turbocharging on the smaller engined cars it is not uncommon to see 4 & 6 cylinder cars compete along with V8's

This class also encourages more of the "kiwi bloke know how" type of home engineering to be used meaning a cheaper form of racing as a result.

A Grade / Saloons ... a highly competitive class at a more affordable price !
