Production Saloons

Production Saloons are the entry level for non-contact saloon car racing at Woodford Glen.

Generally a mildly modified version of the manufacturers car with a full roll cage for protection.

Many varieties of cars have been built to within the strict specifications for this class.

Commodores & Falcons have proven popular but many front wheel drive Japanese cars have now taken over the top championship placings.

This class has also provided many women with the opportunity to launch their speedway careers ... some of them becoming very successful.

Production Saloons ... very competitive, close racing and cars we can relate to those on the street !
