Super Saloons

Super Saloons normally use a
purpose built "spaceframe" chassis with
fibreglass body panels attached.
They have the largest size engines of all the classes at
Woodford Glen, up to a massive 434 cubic inches and often
in excess of 600 horse power.
Mostly running on methanol and often breathing flames
from the exhaust these look awesome at night.
Usually professionally built cars and engines with
purpose built components, combining to provide fast,
exciting and close racing.
Currently the most popular non-contact class at Woodford
Glen these cars reach speeds in excess of 130km/h.
